The company is undergoing significant growth and transformation, making this an exciting time to join.Your new role This organization is seeking a Billing Supervisor / Senior Billing Analyst to join its finance team, supporting the integration of two home care entities. Reporting to the Billing Manager, this role will provide hands-on oversight and direction to a team of Billing and AR Analysts, ensuring timely and accurate billing processes during a period of transition and growth. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting both routine and ad hoc billing activities, process improvement, and system upgrades.Oversee and support a team of 10+ Billing and AR Analysts across two integrating entities.Ensure timely and accurate execution of weekly and monthly billing cycles, including standardized and non-standardised billing activities.Provide hands-on support for ad hoc billing tasks arising from ongoing integrations and acquisitions.Collaborate with the Billing Manager to monitor process compliance, escalate issues, and maintain operational continuity.Participate in the implementation and testing of new scheduling and billing systems.Contribute to process improvement initiatives, including SOP development and project management activities.Liaise between offices in Mississauga and Markham, with a flexible hybrid work arrangement (typically 2–3 days onsite per week).Support the transition and knowledge transfer from retiring managers, ensuring a smooth integration of teams and processes.What you'll need to succeed 3+ years’ experience in billing essentially — a bonus for additional experience in AR, or project accounting, ideally with supervisory or senior analyst responsibilities.Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.Experience with billing systems, ERP platforms, and process automation (healthcare or home care sector experience is an asset, but not required).Project management mindset, with a track record of driving process improvements and SOP creation.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to lead junior staff and collaborate across teams.Immediately available candidates preferred due to time-sensitive transition needs.Willingness to work in a hybrid model, commuting between Mississauga and Markham as needed.What you'll get in return Salary: $60,000–$80,000 (commensurate with experience and seniority)Schedule: Monday to Friday, hybrid (2–3 days onsite per week)Benefits: Health and dental coverage, life insurance, RSP matching (up to 5% over tenure), on-site parking, 2–3 weeks vacation (based on seniority), 3 personal days, standard statutory holidaysOpportunity to contribute to major integration projects and system upgrades in a growing organizationWhat you need to do now If you're interested in this role, forward an up-to-date copy of your CV to tim.spencer@hays.com.If this job isn't quite right for you, but you are looking for a new position, please contact us for a confidential discussion on your career. #HAYSYYZ
