Currently involved in some of Canada’s largest infrastructure projects, ACCIONA delivers solutions that contribute to the economic and social progress of the communities in which it operates. www.acciona.caJob DescriptionAs a BIM Modeler, you will be responsible for developing and maintainingaccurate and detailed 3D models that support the design and constructionphases of infrastructure projects. You will collaborate closely with engineers,architects, and BIM Coordinators to ensure models are compliant with projectstandards and contribute to efficient project delivery.Model Creation: Develop detailed 3D models using software such as Autodesk Revit, Civil 3D, based on design inputs and specifications. Model Updates: Incorporate design changes and updates into models as directed by the design team or BIM Coordinator. Clash Detection Support: Assist in identifying and resolving model clashes using tools like Navisworks. Documentation: Generate 2D drawings, schedules, and other deliverables from BIM models. Data Management: Ensure model data is accurate, structured, and aligned with project requirements and naming conventions.Collaboration: Coordinate with other modelers and disciplines to ensure model consistency and integration. Quality Control: Conduct self-checks and participate in model reviews to maintain high-quality outputs. Working ConditionsFull -time position based in the Don Mills Office, Toronto.Required Skills And CompetenciesBasic understanding of architectural, structural, and MEP systems. Proficiency in BIM software: Autodesk Revit, Civil 3D, Navisworks. Understanding BIM standards: such as ISO 19650 and modeling best practices. 2D and 3D documentation: Ability to extract accurate drawings and schedules from models. Data management: Familiarity with Common Data Environments (CDEs) like ProjectWise, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), and Asite. Clash detection support: Basic knowledge of identifying and resolving model conflicts.
