What To ExpectAs a member of the Design Content and BIM Management team, you'll be directly and indirectly contributing to the expansion of the Tesla network across EMEA. The team focus is fundamentally linked to the success of the whole Infrastructure development in the region. Defining good quality standards, design tools and information that will streamline the workflows across the Architectural design teams in EMEA. Contributing to the data collection from our projects to help achieve company goals. Working directly with business partners to assist in creative design initiatives, connecting with external manufacturers and bringing ideas to execution.The team is nuclear to the success and scalability of the infrastructure development expansion plan in EMEA.What You'll DoBIM Model Management & Design SupportSupport architectural projects in Revit/BIM in all project stages and program typologyBIM project data base maintenance, correction, update and auditCompany specific Revit families library technical development, maintenance & updateDesign and Revit modelling of products, equipment and specific programs requirementsDigital Revit/BIM standards development for prototypical facilitiesContinuous update of BIM model project information, templatesAssure technical support to Revit/BIM internal/external collaboratorsAssure training and onboarding of new and existing design team members of Revit/BIM information/usageImplement innovation/improvement initiatives, assess results and provide feedback/guidanceMaintaining and updating specifications libraries for cross functional organization useDevelopment and updating of Tesla standards graphic guidelines packages for cross functional useSupport creative design initiatives, new product launches, updates and other ad hoc business opportunities requirementsTechnology & Standards ImplementationUpdate the project BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and supporting documentationIntroduce, support, and oversee the implementation of industry-leading BIM/VDC technology and enforce company BIM standards across projects.Drive timely implementation and resolution of any issues related to model accuracy or coordinationScan Data Integration & ManagementManage the integration of laser scan data (point clouds) into BIM models to capture existing conditions accurately.Develop and implement workflows for processing, registering, and leveraging point cloud data effectively within the BIM environment.What You'll BringArchitectural and BIM coordinator background is ideal or relevant BIM field experience ideally including large family library management (minimum 2-3 years)Project experience in BIM coordination using Autodesk Revit and BIM360 or ACCComfortable working with multiple teams on multiple projects, a team player, and yet capable of working independentlyMeticolous attention to detail and adept at managing multiple projects and tasks concurrentlyWillingness to assist teams both with simple problems or more advanced inquiries and needsSoftware skillsAutodesk Revit (advanced)Autodest BIM interoperability tools (DiRoots, pyRevit etc.)Data environment and coordination platforms (BIM360,ACC, Microsoft Excel and SharePoint)Visual Programming - Dynamo (desirable)AutoCAD 2D (desirable), Tesla
