An ?Enrollee? is a participant in a grant program established through a Cooperative Agreement funded by the agency and administered by NEW Solutions.This opportunity applies to applicants legally eligible to work in the United States.QualificationsBA/BS Degree in Biology, natural resources, or related with minimum additional experience of 15 year(s) in natural resource managementExperience required with Windows, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Teams, MS Outlook, MS SharePointDutiesEnrollee will serve as a biologist, supporting Chattahoochee NRA with expertise in natural resources management. Work will be seasonal in nature, project, and as-needed basis.Conduct surveys for state and federally listed species and assist with preparing documents for ESA Section 7 Consultation and NEPA compliance. 20%Develop and/or review landscape planting plans for projects 20%Provide restoration planning, construction expertise, and oversight to parkwide projects 20%Assisting in data collection, coordinating, and contributing to annual monitoring reports 20%Assist in drafting Special Use Permits for construction project and/or reviewing draft permits developed by park staff 10%Consult on large projects, as needed 5%Host trainings for park staff, interns, and volunteers 5%OtherRequired Safety Gear: Field work may require PPE to be provided by the parkPhysical requirements: Job is primarily sedentary and performed in an office environment. Some field visits may involve brief exposure to arduous climatic conditions (e.g. temps >90 degrees) and the need for sufficient mobility to navigate uneven terrain.
