Are you a dedicated and detail-oriented Biomedical Engineer with a passion for ensuring the safety and accuracy of medical equipment? The Medical Equipment Calibration Laboratory (MECL), part of the esteemed Faculty of Engineering at Cairo University, is seeking a Biomedical Test & Calibration Engineer to join our team in Cairo.In this role, you'll be at the forefront of medical equipment quality control. You'll work on-site, traveling to various hospitals and healthcare facilities across Egypt to perform crucial testing and calibration. Your commitment and technical expertise will directly impact patient safety and care, ensuring that vital medical devices meet rigorous national and international standards.Note: IF YOU ARE NOT BIOMEDICAL ENGINEER OR RELATED DO NOT APPLY FOR THIS POSITIONKey ResponsibilitiesOn-site Testing & Calibration: Perform hands-on testing and calibration of a wide range of medical equipment at various locations throughout the Arab Republic of Egypt. Travel is a necessary and integral part of this role.Quality Assurance: Ensure all testing and calibration procedures comply with industry standards and regulations.Documentation & Reporting: Meticulously document all procedures, results, and findings in detailed reports.Technical Marketing & Client Relations: Act as a technical representative during site visits, fostering strong relationships with clients.Collaboration: Participate in technical committees and contribute to evaluations and report writing.Qualifications & RequirementsA Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering or an equivalent field.0-2 years of experience in a related field, with a preference for experience in medical equipment calibration or maintenance.A solid understanding of biomedical equipment applications, management, and maintenance procedures.The ability to read and interpret medical standards and technical documents.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.Exceptional commitment and a willingness to travel extensively within Egypt.This is a full-time, on-site position based in Cairo.
