Along with the growth of BioNTechs global footprint, we are staffing the site engineering team. The site engineering is in charge to host and execute the local repair, maintenance, calibration, qualification and automation. Your main responsibilities are:
Leading the site engineering team to ensure full equipment availability for mRNA vaccine manufacturing along the equipment life-cycle (from support of current CAPEX projects [design, build and qualify an mRNA manufacturing facility] to full operational use Overall responsible to manage team for repair, maintenance and calibration Site business process owner for engineering Ensure full equipment availability according to cGMP guidelines Build and grow the engineering team on site What you have to offer: Completed academic degree (Dipl. -Ing. TU/ FH, B. Sc. /M Sc.
) with major in process engineering, mechanical engineering, or biotechnology Minimum 7 years of engineering experience in the pharmaceutical industry High degree of process know-how for basic technical process operations Extensive qualification knowledge and professional experience required Very good planning and organizational skills Ability to work without supervision and to demonstrate job ownership Pronounced team and communication skills Analytical and concept-based thinking and acting GMP-related experience is a must English fluent; spoken and written
