The Laboratory Purchasing Coordinator is responsible for managing the procurement of laboratory supplies and equipment across multiple lab areas, including Microbiology, Finished Product, Raw Material, Stability, Inspection, and Instrumentation. This role ensures inventory availability, invoice accuracy, and effective collaboration with internal departments, while maintaining operational efficiency under tight deadlines and high-pressure situations. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and execute purchases of laboratory supplies and equipment for all laboratory areas. Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory through monthly supply audits. Collaborate with the finance department to track, reconcile, and maintain accurate records of invoices. Attend and contribute to internal meetings as required.
Support the labs by working extended shifts and/or weekends, when necessary. Perform effectively under pressure to meet urgent procurement and operational needs. RequirementsQualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in science or business preferred. 1-2 years of experience in procurement or administrative support, preferably in a laboratory or regulated environment. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with inventory or procurement systems. Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities
