Bioprocess Engineer

Location: VispContract start date: ImmediatelyContract end date: 01/09/2026We are seeking a highly motivated Bioprocess Engineer, Biotechnologist, or Chemist (f/m/d) to support production campaigns within our bioconjugate manufacturing facility, specializing in Potent Compound Production (PCP). In this role, you will ensure the compliant, efficient, and high-quality execution of manufacturing campaigns in accordance with cGMP guidelines while driving continuous process improvement and cross-functional collaboration.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and execute production campaigns in accordance with cGMP requirementsReview risk analyses and implement resulting mitigation measuresEnsure accurate batch execution, evaluate test results, and resolve production-related issuesTroubleshoot production equipment and propose effective technical solutionsMaintain complete process documentation and ensure full GMP-compliant documentationPrepare detailed campaign reports and contribute to annual product reviewsIdentify and implement continuous improvement opportunities for processes, systems, and procedures in collaboration with cross-functional teams (e.g., R&D, MSAT) to enhance efficiency and cost-effectivenessDeliver product-specific campaign training to employeesSupport and co-lead cross-project training initiatives (quarterly training sessions, special topics) and contribute to daily operational knowledge sharingQualifications & RequirementsBachelor’s or Master’s degree (University/FH) or PhD in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or a related scientific fieldFluency in German and English (minimum C1 level required)Initial professional experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or industrial production environments is desirableStrong understanding of GMP regulationsExcellent communication skills with strong team collaboration and leadership capabilitiesStructured, focused, and cross-functional working styleStrong organizational skills, proactive mindset, and openness to innovation and continuous improvement
