Position SummaryThe Instructional Designer will develop high-impact learning experiences that engage, educate, and empower our team members across all levels of the organization. This role will design, develop, and refine blended learning programs—including digital modules, on the job training, and job aids—that align with Blaze Pizza’s business objectives, operational priorities, and company culture.

Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesDesign & DevelopmentCreate engaging, learner-centric training materials including eLearning modules, instructor-led content, microlearning, videos, infographics, and assessments. Translate operational procedures, HR policies, and technical concepts into easy-to-understand, actionable learning assetsDevelop course outlines, storyboards, scripts, and learning objectives based on stakeholder input and learning needsContent Strategy & DeliveryPartner with subject matter experts (SMEs) across Operations, HR, Supply Chain, and Marketing to identify training needs and content opportunities. Leverage authoring tools and LMS platforms to publish and track training programs. Ensure consistency in tone, branding, and instructional quality across all materials. Evaluation & Optimization.

Implement feedback mechanisms and learning analytics to assess content effectiveness and drive continuous improvement. Monitor learner performance, completion rates, and satisfaction metrics to inform updates and refinements. Project Management Manage multiple training development projects with clear timelines, stakeholder checkpoints, and deliverables. Ensure alignment with company initiatives including onboarding, leadership development, compliance, and operational rolloutsQualificationsEducation & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Communications, or related field (Master’s preferred). 3+ years of experience in instructional design or learning development; restaurant, retail, or franchise experience a plus. Proficient in eLearning authoring tools (Articulate Rise/Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Canva, etc. ).

Experience working within an LMS environment (UKG, Workday, Cornerstone, Opus Wistetail, etc. ). Strong visual design and storytelling skills. Excellent project management, communication, and collaboration skills. Ability to synthesize complex information into clear, concise, engaging learning. Other Requirements: Able to work in the office on average 4. 5 days a week.
