You’ll lead a team of talented engineers, own strategy and architecture, and stay hands-on with critical design and development.

This is a key leadership role where you'll shape the infrastructure, services, and tooling that drive everything we build. Your responsibilities: Define and evolve the long-term vision for Blink’s application platform, translating product ambitions into a clear technical roadmapLead, mentor, and grow a high-performing engineering team that values craftsmanship, autonomy, and rapid deliveryOwn key infrastructure components, ensuring performance, scalability, and securityPartner closely with DevOps, Product, and peer engineering teams to ensure the platform scales gracefully as usage and feature complexity surgeFoster a culture of continuous improvement, ownership, and innovation across the broader R&D organizationRequirements:

Excellent communication and leadership skills4+ years of experience as a Software or Platform EngineerAt least 2 years in a leadership roleDeep understanding of modern cloud-native architecture (e. g. , Kubernetes, Docker, microservices)Hands-on experience with backend development (Go preferred, Python, Java or C#)Expertise in operating high-scale SaaS systems on AWS, GCP or Azure, with solid grounding in infrastructure-as-code, observability, and secure software developmentProven track record of building secure, reliable, and scalable systemsExperience with monitoring and observability tools (e. g. , Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog)Experience in a high-scale SaaS environment
