Position Summary: The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations, including team supervision, inventory coordination, safety compliance, service quality, and the implementation of process improvements. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and hands-on management in a dynamic, multi-shift environment. Key Responsibilities: Plan and manage efficient and cost-effective warehouse operations. Lead and develop the warehouse team, including supervisors, leads, and frontline staff. Ensure operational and performance goals are met (productivity, quality, customer service). Maintain accurate inventory records and optimize stock levels. Oversee receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping activities.
Implement and uphold health, safety, and sanitation standards in compliance with company and regulatory requirements. Ensure facility and equipment maintenance is up to date. Participate in the hiring, training, and performance management of warehouse personnel. Develop and enforce policies, procedures, and operational standards. Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and contribute to continuous improvement plans. Support budgeting, planning, and operational decision-making. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field. 5 to 10 years of progressive experience in warehouse or distribution center management. Proven leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Proficient in basic technology tools (e. g. , Microsoft Office or other operational systems). Knowledge of workplace safety, inventory control, and logistics optimization.
