BMS Engineer – Data Center

The BMS Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and optimizing the Building Management System (BMS) to ensure the efficient, safe, and uninterrupted operation of critical systems within the data center. This role ensures optimal performance of HVAC, electrical, fire safety, and other environmental controls while adhering to industry standards (e.g., ISO, ASHRAE) and energy efficiency goals.Roles & ResponsibilitiesDesign, configure, and commission BMS solutions for data center infrastructure (HVAC, UPS, cooling systems, etc.).Program and integrate BMS controllers (e.g., Siemens, Honeywell, Schneider Electric) with data center systems.Ensure compliance with SLAs, uptime requirements, and energy efficiency standards (e.g., PUE optimization). Monitor and troubleshoot BMS performance, alarms, and critical incidents in real-time.Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of BMS hardware/software.Coordinate with facilities teams to resolve issues affecting cooling, power, or environmental conditions.
