Join our TeamAbout this opportunity:We are currently seeking a talented and dedicated individual to join our Ericsson team as a BO IP Engineer. This critical role belongs to our Managed Services department, directly contributing to our ongoing Ericsson Operations Engine projects. The candidate is expected to have at least minimum of 7 years’ solid background and experience on IP networking and at least 5-year experience as 2nd line support .What you will do:5 years 2nd line support / TAC is a mustCisco and Ericsson certification for IP network is preferable.Strong knowledge of IP, static and dynamic routing protocolsExperience in HP switches or routers (e.g. 5930-32QSFP+ Switch, HP 6125XLG Blade Switch, Brocade 16Gb/16c SAN)Experience of handling Ericsson Router 6000 is a mustEricsson Core, access and charging system IP connectivity troubleshooting skills and knowledge is preferableCloud and virtualization knowledge and experience will be added advantageTelecom Experience is a plusScript understanding and writing is a plusWorking in 24/5 shiftsWorking on-call in weekends when requiredThe skills you bring:Node AcceptanceConfiguration managementProblem ManagementWorking in 24/5 shiftsWorking on-call in weekends when required2nd line troubleshooting for transmission related outages and degraded issues on the below Equipment’s/ Systems using STC Trouble Tickets System (RTTS):SSRCisco RoutersHP switches or routers (e.g. 5930-32QSFP+ Switch, HP 6125XLG Blade Switch, Brocade 16Gb/16c SAN) Daily work includes using following Ericsson ENM Support and guide NFM/FO-TX/SE on troubleshooting for Trouble Tickets Support other team for their E-to-E troubleshooting (BO-Access, Cisco MPLS) Follow up with design team for any design issues. Attend committees for investigation and analysis purposes. MDT/TCN approval and verifications for transmission activities. Audit network when required. Opening/Follow up CSR’s with 3rd line support when required.
