We need to expand our already industry-leading team, find the best people, and lead the charge.RoleFor our Zagreb team, we are seeking a highly skilled Body Systems Engineer – Fine Mechanics & Restraint to lead the design and development of interior trims system for our automotive products. This role requires strong technical expertise, lead capabilities, and experience in working with ultralow volume automotive production. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and external suppliers, driving the development of innovative and reliable interior systems. The role will cover a particular area of the interior fine mechanics & restraints, in particular: Fine Mechanics Main tasks: Lead the development and engineering design of fine mechanics - mechatronics Coordinate communication with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of components and solutions Work closely with cross-functional teams such as the Design Studio, Simulation Department, Testing Department, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Quality Take ownership of the DVP (Development Validation Plan) for Prototype and Series Production on both component and car levels Ensure timely product releases for Prototype and Series production with all necessary documentation Develop the interior system based to the target defined at component and vehicle level Perform DFMEA (Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) and ensure the integration of systems into the vehicle Design components and systems that meet specified cost, weight, and performance targets Ensure designs are completed within the project timeline Guarantee manufacturability, quality, homologation, and performance of the Interior systems Provide technical drawings and production documentation per company standards Execute and refine component validation plans based on test results Define safety characteristics, functionalities, and requirements for designed components and systemsOccasional Tasks Generating 3D models, feasible sections, assemblies and 2D/3D drawings using 3DX Experience Support other teams in their activities.
