JOB SUMMARYThe job is seeking a responsible and customer-oriented Booking Office Clerk to assist passengers with booking tickets through a free ticketing service. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing ticket reservations, providing schedule information, and ensuring an efficient and friendly customer experience. This position does not involve handling money or payments, as all bookings are provided at no cost to passengers.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESWelcome and assist passengers courteously and professionally.Provide accurate information about travel schedules, routes, seat availability, and booking procedures.Book and issue tickets using a manual or computerized system.Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of bookings and passenger details.Make changes or cancellations to bookings as requested by passengers.Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure booking information is communicated properly.Inform passengers of any schedule changes, delays, or cancellations.Generate and distribute booking reports as required by management.Ensure the booking area is clean, organized, and welcoming.Respond to passenger inquiries, complaints, and requests in a timely and helpful manner.Maintain confidentiality and accuracy when handling passenger data.Comply with all office procedures, policies, and service standards.COMPETENCIES & SKILLSTechnical CompetenciesBehavioral Competencies SkillsProficient in data entryAbility to maintain detailedAttention to DetailCommunication SkillsTask PrioritizationProblem SolvingQUALIFICATIONS & REQUIMENTS Diploma or equivalent educational qualification.1 to 2 years of related work experience.Proficiency in both Arabic and English languages.
