Job Description
The Bookkeeper is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the company’s accounting data is up to date. This role involves managing accounts payable and receivable, processing invoices, reconciling bank statements, and preparing financial reports. The Bookkeeper also assists in payroll processing, budgeting, and supporting audits to ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies. ResponsibilitiesManage and maintain the full set of accounts (A/P, A/R, general ledger, bank reconciliation, and payroll)Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reportsReview and post journal entries to ensure accuracy of financial dataSupport budgeting, forecasting, and external audit requirementsMonitor cash flow and ensure financial controls are followedQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldMinimum 4 years of experience in bookkeeping or accountingStrong understanding of accounting principles and reporting standardsProficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Oracle, Xero, MYOB, or SAP)Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills
