Prepare and record journal entries to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements Perform general ledger reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial data Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions Conduct payroll processing and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations Assist with tax preparation and filing requirements Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records and documentation Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial information and support as needed```Experience``` Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a bookkeeper or in a similar role Strong understanding of financial concepts and principles Proficiency in using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) Knowledge of technical accounting procedures and practices Familiarity with payroll processing and tax regulations Experience with general ledger reconciliation and financial statement preparation Ability to analyze financial data and identify discrepancies or errors Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entrySkills Journal entries: Ability to accurately record financial transactions in the general ledger. Financial concepts: Understanding of basic accounting principles, such as debits, credits, assets, liabilities, revenue, and expenses. Payroll: Knowledge of payroll processing procedures, including calculating wages, deductions, and taxes. Accounting software: Proficiency in using accounting software programs to record, organize, and analyze financial data. Technical accounting: Familiarity with advanced accounting procedures, such as accruals, deferrals, amortization, and depreciation. Accounts receivable: Ability to manage customer invoices, track payments, and resolve outstanding balances. Tax: Understanding of tax regulations and ability to assist with tax preparation and filing requirements. General ledger reconciliation: Skill in comparing account balances to ensure accuracy and identifying discrepancies or errors.
