About the RoleWizard Accounting & Consulting is hiring a skilled Bookkeeper to support its growing client base in the food and beverage sector. This role will begin part-time and transition to full-time within a few months. You’ll handle weekly bookkeeping tasks, support month-end closes, and help streamline financial processes. As part of the team, you won’t just deliver reports; so you’ll contribute to insights that guide client decisions and growth.Key ResponsibilitiesCategorize weekly transactions across multiple client accountsProcess Accounts Payable using Ramp and Bill.comPrepare weekly cash flow reports in ExcelRecord payments and reconcile invoicesPost journal entries as needed (training provided for consistency)Manage the month-end close for small clients once core tasks are masteredSupport coverage during the owner’s absenceIdentify opportunities for process automation and workflow improvementsRequirements4+ years of experience as a full-cycle Bookkeeper in a professional settingExperience with consumer goods or retail clients, ideally food & beverage, with both e-commerce and retail channelsStrong proficiency with QBO, Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, Bill.com, and Ramp bill payIntermediate to advanced Excel skillsComfortable with Google Workspace apps (Sheets, Docs, Drive, etc.)Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work semi-independentlyMust pass a bookkeeping knowledge assessmentPreferred QualificationsExperience in improving bookkeeping processes with automation toolsFamiliarity with scaling bookkeeping operations for multi-channel businessesSuccess Indicators (First 3–6 Months)All weekly transactions are categorized and reconciled on schedule with zero backlogConsistent, accurate weekly cash flow reports deliveredSmooth handling of AP through Bill.com and Ramp without errorsSuccessful management of the month-end close for assigned small clientsDocumented improvements in efficiency or automation within workflowsCompensation & LogisticsPart-time to start, with transition to full-time within a few monthsEnglish level: C1+ required for client communicationMust align with U.S. business hours (EST or CST preferred)Company OverviewWizard Accounting & Consulting delivers high-quality bookkeeping and financial guidance to food and beverage businesses.
