Your Role in a NutshellWe are looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist, who is passionate about attracting quality candidates and driven to shape and execute creative talent acquisition strategies to support our continued growth and success.

Evaluating and championing all people, culture, talent, and organizational strategies to build a scalable foundation to support North American and International growth. Scope of DutiesUtilize your headhunting skills to discover and attract candidates, and assess their potential.

Use a variety of channels to source qualified candidates, including social networks and online recruitment platforms such as LinkedIn and Indeed. Manage the full recruitment cycle, from needs analysis to the onboarding of new employees (including negotiating with selected candidates, job offers, benefits, and conditions). Manage the recruitment cycle: sourcing, screenings, interviews, negotiation, and reference checks. Identify, source, and maintain a pipeline of candidates through a variety of platforms: social media, job boards, networking, headhunting, external agencies, etc. Creatively build new recruitment strategies capable of attracting top talent.

Act as an employer brand ambassador to provide an outstanding candidate experience. Actively participate in the creation and continuous improvement of recruitment strategies, projects, and processes. Keep up-to-date with trends and advancements in the market and talent acquisition to stay competitive. What You Offer3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally within a start-up environment with a focus on high volume recruiting for entry to senior level roles. A track record of success with meeting and exceeding hiring targets. Proven ability to leverage data and analytics to drive informed decision-making and implement changes to optimize recruitment processes.

Proficiency in utilizing a variety of recruitment channels, including inbound, outbound, referrals, and events, to attract top talent and build diverse candidate pipelines. Experience sourcing, nurturing and hiring passive candidates. A consultative approach to recruitment: A strategic thinker who brings a problem-solving mindset to any challenge throughout the recruiting process. Comprehensive understanding and application of recruitment best practices, ensuring compliance and alignment with organizational goals and values. Hands-on work ethic, with a “roll-up the sleeve’s” attitude with a passion for managing the details within a growing business. Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Human Resources or equivalent work history. Completed (or working toward) CHRP designation is an asset. *Compensation*Base salary of $50,000 per year, plus a $500 commission for each successfully filled role
