Job Description

DescriptionResidential Elevators is looking for a CNC Brake Press Operator with experience in a steel shop environment to work full-time at least 40 hours a week at our Cairo, Georgia plant/warehouse. The Brake Press Operator will be responsible for using an electronically powered industrial machine to create, shape and customize metal materials.Essential Duties IncludePerform typical press operations to produce materials according to specifications and on scheduleInspect the materials produced for quality and conformity; correct any inconsistenciesDetect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisorMaintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulationsSkills & AbilitiesMotor skills to operate multiple settings and levers that much be adjusted for each job and quickly manipulated through the steps of creating finished productGood analytical and mathematical skills to interpret drawings, templates, and blueprintsRead gauges, tape measure, blueprints, and other measurement toolsRequirementsMinimum RequirementsAt least 2 years of Machinist experience, CNC Brake Press Experience requiredMust be able to comply with safety policies; safety-consciousMust have reliable transportationMust lift up to 50 lbs.About Residential ElevatorsResidential Elevators, the fastest growing home elevator company in the United States with over 200 employees, is always seeking great talent!
