Join our team of People-Focused Problem Solvers and build a career where your contributions truly make a difference!What we offer: Enjoy a competitive salary of $60,000–$70,000 (based on skills and qualifications), paid vacation, comprehensive medical and dental benefits, and an RRSP matching plan.The Branch Coordinator is a multifaceted role designed to support the Operations Manager to successfully run the Kamloops branch, by participating and leading various functions within the dealership including supporting the parts department, service department, shipping and receiving, and yard maintenance, while ensuring exceptional customer service. The position reports to and works closely with the Operations Manager to ensure seamless operation of daily activities.Key Responsibilities:Provide exceptional customer service at the parts and service counter, by assisting customers and technicians with inquiries and transactions, shipping and receiving of inventory, lookup, and sourcing of partsAttend to customers’ calls and effectively communicate with customers to support the service team and ensure high levels of customer satisfactionAssist team members de-escalate difficult customer calls, as neededAssist walk-in customers and facilitate onsite equipment viewingsLiaise with vendors and contractors and assist with scheduling and maintain accurate appointment logs and service recordsPromote and maintain a safe working environment complying with all health and safety policies, procedures and legislation by being an active member of the safety committeeKeep rentals, parts department, inventory warehouse, shipping and receiving clean and orderlyAssist the service advisors, when needed in coordinating road and/or shop technicians, and/or create work orders and complete quotes for required service or parts, as neededAssist all departments to ensure work orders are closed and invoicedAssist the rental department by coordinating the preparation of rental equipment for pick-up and delivery, creating contracts, invoicing customers, and documenting returns (including taking pictures, completing inspection reports, and documenting damage when needed)Obtain and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction in all customer interactions as evidenced by customer feedback and net promoter scoresUse dealership equipment and resources safely and proficientlyPerform general clerical tasks and coordinate communication between rentals, parts, yard, and service departments, handling emails and phone inquiries, including collecting payment from customersOther responsibilities as assignedKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:Able to take directions from management and work independently to support business operationsHighly confident and able to make sound decisionsMust be able to communicate professionally with internal teams and with customersAbility to operate heavy equipment and forkliftsAbility to drive a vehicle to assist with deliveries, when requiredMust have good time-management skillsAbility to use Outlook, Microsoft Teams, and other Customer Relations Software. Experience with Tinnacity a plusPhysical capability to perform manual tasks, stand for prolonged period of time, lift 50 pounds, climb stairs or ladders, climb into and operate equipment, use other equipment such as power washAble to work in an environment with frequent exposure to the elementsMust be a team player, and have a thoughtful, and friendly team focused approachTraining, Education and Experience:Previous experience working in Parts or Service Department, experience working in an automotive or dealership, a plusExperience working in a busy work environment, assisting customers, problem solving and providing exception serviceFamiliarity with inventory systems or parts management software is preferredEquipment operation experience (forklifts, construction equipment, or other).
