The Day-To-Day ActivitiesThe Store Manager is responsible for the overall management and performance of a designated U Mobile store. This role requires a dynamic and results-oriented individual with strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills. The Store Manager will be accountable for driving store sales, managing staff, and ensuring a positive customer experience.Key Accountabilities:-Sales Management:• Directly manage, coach, and motivate Store Managers within their assigned area.• Monitor daily/weekly/monthly sales performance and operational efficiency of individual stores in their area.• Develop and implement strategies to achieve business objectives within their designated area.• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), analyse results and feedback, and implement corrective actions to ensure targets are met.Customer Service & Operational Standards:• Conduct regular store visits to assess performance, identify training needs, and ensure adherence to brand standards.• Address escalated customer issues and maintain high customer satisfaction.• Oversee the product lifecycle, ensure good planning and execution for launching new products, and driving consumer engagement in store.Team Management & Development:• Manage and guide a team of professionals, fostering a high-performance UM culture and providing mentorship.• Ensure optimal staffing levels and staff capabilities within their area stores.• Resolve operational issues that arise within the stores.• Strategic Planning & Market Analysis:• Analyse local market trends and competitor activities to inform area strategies.• Staying abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to inform business decisions.• Overseeing the product lifecycle, ensure good plannings and execution for launching new products, and driving consumer engagement in store.Resource Management & Collaboration:• Collaborating with various internal teams and external partners like mall managements or vendors to drive business growth and ensure smooth operations.• Managing allocated resources effectively and ensuring cost-efficiency for the store productivity and profitability.About YouEducation/ What people Know:Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Degree or commensurate industry experience.Experience/ What people Have Done:At least 5-7 years of relevant working experience in a retail management role, with at least 2-3 yearsin a multi-store or area management capacity, preferably in the telecommunication industry(Adapted from Store Manager, typically Area Managers require more experience).Competencies/ What people Can Do:• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets across multiple locations.• Excellent leadership, coaching, and motivational skills.• Strong verbal and written communication skills.• Ability to analyse complex data, identify trends, and make strategic decisions.• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.• Proficiency in using point-of-sales systems, CRM software, and Microsoft Office applications.• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.• Ability to travel frequently within the assigned geographical areaPersonal Attributes/ Who people Are:• Methodical with sense of urgency and able to work independently.• Basic understanding of telecom technologies (e.g., mobile networks, broadband) to better assist customers with technical inquiries or issues.
