We are seeking a Brand & Product Marketing Specialist who combines a strong creative mindset with a broad range of marketing expertise. The Brand & Product Marketing Specialist will play a critical role in supporting Contura’s continued growth and presence in the Canadian market. This role will be responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing strategies to drive product awareness, engagement, and demand.This role will serve as a key brand steward, ensuring all communications align with global brand guidelines while resonating with local stakeholders including healthcare professionals, advocacy groups, and patients.Success in this role requires a combination of strategic thinking, strong execution skills, and the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, start-up-like environment. The Brand & Product Marketing Specialist will collaborate with sales and leadership teams to drive market impact and support Company-wide goals.Responsibilities:Product Marketing & Growth Planning:Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies and campaigns to drive product awareness, demand, and engagement.Identify new channel opportunities and optimize existing ones to enhance reach and marketing effectiveness.Build and scale the foundational marketing infrastructure needed to support long-term growth.Remain up to date with respect to customer marketplace including knowledge of key competitors and competitive strategies.Conduct market research to inform product positioning and messaging that aligns with target audiences.Brand Management:Ensure consistent messaging across all Canadian materials, aligned with global brand guidelines.Adapt and localize product messaging for Canadian healthcare professionals, advocacy groups, and other stakeholders.Partner with external groups and stakeholders to promote awareness and engagement.Act as a brand steward, ensuring all communications, social media, and customer-facing content are aligned with brand guidelines and consistently reflect brand values.Sales Enablement:Create materials to support sales function, including decks, brochures, and promotional collateral.Develop targeted marketing tools to empower the sales team in effectively communicating product benefits and driving customer engagement.Attend conferences and industry events in support of our sales initiatives, helping to elevate visibility and build relationships.Content Development & Communications:Develop social media campaigns that align with product launches, events, and strategic priorities.Plan and create compelling content for social media platforms, including social posts, client stories, PR communications, and promotional materials.Manage social media content and engagement to ensure all socials adhere to global brand guidelines, reinforce key messaging, and contribute to broader brand awareness.Track social media performance metrics to refine content strategy and provide insights into audience engagement.Events & Administration:Provide administrative marketing support as needed, including coordinating logistics for conferences, trade shows, and client meetings.Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills & Competencies):Degree in marketing, communications or a related field.7+ years of previous experience in product/brand marketing in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical or life sciences industry. Strong expertise across multiple marketing disciplines, including brand marketing, product marketing, public relations, content management, digital marketing, and performance marketing.Experience in a start-up organization or a dynamic environment, with a clear understanding of the fast pace and need for adaptability and resourcefulness.Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to write clear, persuasive, and on-brand messaging.Strong creative thinking skills with the ability to generate original ideas and develop compelling brand communications and marketing campaigns.Highly proficient in leveraging social media channels (in particular, LinkedIn) to create content that resonates and drives meaningful engagement.Expert user with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook) and Adobe product suite.Demonstrated initiative and adaptability in a role that requires independent decision-making and has minimal oversight.Collaborative team player with a proactive, hands-on approach – willing to manage tasks ranging from strategic messaging to event coordination.Must be fluent in English. Bilingualism with French as a second language is an asset.Working Conditions:Requirement to travel and attend industry events/conferences.
