Business Advisor

The Business Advisor plays a central role in supporting business operations and risk management within a small, specialised insurance company for insolvency insurance in the travel sector, the Belgian Travel Guarantee Fund.The Business Advisor:Performs thorough risk analyses with regard to existing and potential insured travel companies, with particular attention to their financial strength and exposure to insolvency risks.Contributes to compliance with governance procedures and helps to develop a strong internal reporting and control environment.Actively contributes to reporting to the National Bank of Belgium (NBB) and other supervisory authorities, with a focus on accuracy, transparency and timeliness.Monitors claims and supports management with clear and reliable reporting on risks and trends within the portfolio.Works closely with colleagues in a small, multidisciplinary team, where flexibility and cooperation are key.With sharp analytical skills, an eye for detail and in-depth insight into risk analysis and the insurance sector, the Business Advisor contributes to sound risk management and the sustainable continuity of the company. He or she is fluent in Dutch and French (spoken and written) and has opportunities for advancement.
