Head of District Program (m/f/x)

The Royal Belgian Hockey Association is looking for a Head of District Program (m/f) to manage and oversee its District Program for its three entities (Royal Belgian Hockey Association, Hockey Vlaanderen and Hockey Wallonie Bruxelles).This talent detection program aims to screen, select, and train young promising players (U13–U14) to help them progress toward the Belgian National Youth Teams.JOB DESCRIPTIONThe main responsibilities include developing, promoting, and implementing the District program. The role involves:Setting up and fully managing the program;Selecting and supervising mentors, coaches, goalkeeping coaches, etc.;Working closely with the administrative assistant;Maintaining contact with youth coordinators from clubs;Managing internal and external communicationOverseeing the selection process and adhering to the selection criteria outlined by the High-Performance departmentReporting monthly to the High-Performance Director and High Performance Coach Manager’sPROFILE SOUGHTPreferably hold a Master’s degree in Physical Education or Sports Sciences;Have strong communication skills and act as a connector;Be comfortable taking leadership;Be bilingual (Dutch/French); Fluent English,Have coaching experience in hockey and hold at least a Trainer C/ Educateur diploma (or higher)Be willing to work evenings and weekends; Predominantly Sunday evenings weekends > usually only Sunday evenings when District sessionsSupervise an administrative assistant;Report directly to the High Performance Director.OUR OFFERAn interesting position within a fast-growing sports federation and a motivating environment.Part-time contract;Preferably as an independent (self-employed) status;Immediate startINTERESTED?Please send your application, including a motivation letter and CV, to dominique.coulon@hockey.be by Wednesday, December 3, 2025
