Role Overview:We are seeking an experienced Islamic Banking Business Analyst proficient in Arabic and English to join our client project team in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of Islamic banking principles, particularly in retail and liability products, and will be responsible for conducting business requirement workshops, preparing detailed documentation, and coordinating between business and technology teams for solution delivery.Key Responsibilities:Conduct detailed business requirement gathering sessions and workshops with stakeholders across Retail Banking and Islamic product units.Translate business needs into functional specifications and process documentation for system implementation.Analyze, document, and validate business processes, user requirements, and system interactions related to Islamic Retail Banking and Liability Products (e.g., Current Account, Savings Account, Term Deposits, Murabaha, Wakala, and Mudaraba).Collaborate with Product Owners, Technology Teams, and Vendors to ensure requirements are clearly understood and implemented.Ensure Shariah compliance aspects are considered during product and process design.Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Specifications, Process Flows, and User Stories.Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validation of system functionalities against business expectations.Provide inputs on gaps, enhancements, and process improvements in Islamic banking operations.Facilitate training and knowledge transfer sessions for end users.Required Skills & Experience:8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the Banking or Financial Services domain.Proven experience with Islamic Banking Systems (e.g., Temenos T24, Flexcube, Finacle, or equivalent).Strong understanding of Islamic banking concepts – Murabaha, Mudaraba, Ijara, Wakala, Tawarruq, etc.Hands-on experience in Retail and Liability product lifecycle management.Demonstrated ability to conduct workshops and prepare clear, structured documentation.Excellent stakeholder communication and presentation skills in Arabic and English.
