The ideal candidate will work under the direction of a senior business analyst and assist on client engagements in analyzing, documenting, and optimizing identity management processes and systems to enhance security, efficiency, and user experience. This role is perfect for someone eager to start their career in business analysis within the cybersecurity domain.What You Will DoRequirements Gathering and AnalysisCollaborate with client stakeholders to gather and document business requirements related to identity management.Analyze existing identity management processes and identify areas for improvement.Documentation and ReportingCreate detailed business requirements documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and process flow diagrams.Develop user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria for identity management solutions.Prepare regular status reports, meeting minutes, and presentations for stakeholders.Solution Development SupportWork closely with the development team to ensure that solutions meet business requirements.Participate in the testing and validation of identity management solutions, including writing test cases and conducting user acceptance testing (UAT).Knowledge of Identity Access ManagementUnderstanding of IAM concepts, protocols, and technologies (e.g., SSO, LDAP, MFA, OAuth, SAML).Familiarity with security and compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).Project CoordinationAssist in the coordination of identity management projects, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders.User Support and TrainingProvide support to end-users for identity management systems and processes.Assist in developing training materials and conducting training sessions for users.Research and Analytical SkillsAbility to research and understand complex technical concepts and convey them in a user-friendly manner.Strong analytical skills to identify gaps in existing documentation and address them effectively.Communication and CollaborationExcellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, engineers, and product managers.Attention to DetailStrong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and consistency in documentation.Ability to proofread and edit documentation for clarity, grammar, and formatting.Key Work Products Business Requirements Documents (BRDs)Functional SpecificationsProcess Flow DiagramsUser Stories and Use CasesStatus Reports and Meeting MinutesTest Cases and UAT ResultsTraining Materials and User GuidesWhat You Bring To The RoleMinimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role, working in a professional environment and/or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong independent decision-making skills an ability to work with limited information.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).Basic understanding of identity management principles and practices is a plus.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Basic understanding of identity management principles and practices is a plus.Providing you with the support you need to be at your bestOur Values, The KPMG WayIntegrity, we do what is right | Excellence, we never stop learning and improving | Courage, we think and act boldly | Together, we respect each other and draw strength from our differences | For Better, we do what mattersKPMG in Canada is a proud equal opportunities employer and we are committed to creating a respectful, inclusive and barrier-free workplace that allows all of our people to reach their full potential.
