Business Analyst

Job Description:Insight Global is hiring a Business Analyst to support a major retail client in Vancouver. This role will be embedded within the Oracle Retail Merchandising System (RMS) team, helping drive solutions across pricing, sales, and inventory platforms. The ideal candidate will have experience in inventory management systems and business analysis, and be comfortable working with niche retail tools—even if they haven’t used them before.Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support Oracle MOM and RTG suite, including RPM, ReSA, RMS, and RIB.Help manage merchandise and inventory flow across systems.Contribute to the evolution of the sales and inventory platform and its roadmap.Act as a trusted advisor to technical stakeholders, influencing solution architecture.Identify and address areas of strategic technical debt.Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies.Design scalable solutions to support global business growth.Ensure technical requirements are integrated into end-to-end system solutions.Review functional and technical designs for alignment with architecture strategy.Document solution approaches and contribute to project planning and implementation.Required Qualifications:7+ years of Business Analyst experience, ideally with Oracle Retail technologies (RMS, RPM, ReSA, RIB).Experience with inventory management systems or retail merchandising platforms.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.Experience integrating packaged solutions using message-based, service-based, and batch architectures.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with AWS or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).Oracle performance tuning experience.Note:Experience with specific tools like RIB, RPM, RISA is a plus but not required. Strong interview skills and a background in inventory management as a BA are highly valued.
