Job Title: Business Analyst Start Date: ASAPContract Length: 6 Months (extensions likely until October 2026)Location: Hybrid, Edinburgh 3 days on-siteIR35 Status: Inside IR35This role sits within a major transformation programme modernising digital customer engagement via a new portal solution and upgrading the sign-up journey. A central role in translating business requirements into actionable solutions, data analysis and reviewing business processes to enable technical delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyse and document existing and future-state business processes (BPM L1–L5)Facilitate requirement workshops and discovery sessions with business usersTranslate business requirements into detailed documentation supporting acceleration of technical design documentsPerform data analysis, create data dictionaries, and visualise migration findingsOwn and lead cohorting and data analysis approach for data migration projectCollaborate with developers to validate requirements and ensure solution alignmentSupport RAID, defect management, and UAT executionDrive business readiness, ensuring all stakeholders are prepared for cutoverTrack and report on realisation post-implementationRequired Skills:5+ years as a Business Analyst Financial services – pensions experienceData analysis & modelling abilityData migration project experience Familiarity with BPM methodologies, Agile delivery & SDLCDesired Skills:Experience in portal system delivery or project re-start / transition planningExperienced in PEGA, Sapiens (SCM) & BTS Pension Services
