Business Analyst

About the Role:We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our team and help bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills, with experience in gathering requirements, defining processes, and supporting project delivery.Key Responsibilities:Work closely with stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to understand business needs and translate them into clear functional requirements.Gather, analyze, and document business processes, workflows, and system requirements.Create and maintain project documentation including BRDs (Business Requirement Documents), FRDs (Functional Requirement Documents), and use cases.Facilitate meetings, workshops, and discussions to gather input and feedback from cross-functional teams.Support the development team during implementation by clarifying requirements and reviewing deliverables.Perform gap analysis, process mapping, and root cause analysis to identify areas of improvement.Work with QA teams to ensure that requirements are tested and validated properly.Prepare reports, dashboards, and performance metrics to support business decision-making.Required Skills and Qualifications:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.Strong understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), Agile, and Waterfall methodologies.Experience with requirement management tools like JIRA, Confluence, Trello, or Azure DevOps.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.Proficiency in creating process flow diagrams, mock-ups, and wireframes.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Knowledge of SQL and data analysis tools is an added advantage.Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have):Experience in domains such as Finance, Healthcare, Retail, or IT Services.Exposure to Business Intelligence (BI) tools and data visualization.Certification in CBAP, CCBA, or Agile/Scrum methodologies.
