Job Description

Job PurposeThe Business Analyst acts as the bridge between business requirements and technical implementation. This role is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and translating client or internal business needs into clear, actionable system requirements that guide the technology team in developing effective and scalable solutions.Key Responsibilities Business Requirement AnalysisEngage with clients and internal stakeholders to gather detailed business needs and translate them into functional and non-functional requirementsConduct requirement workshops, interviews, and process-mapping sessions to capture use cases and workflowsAnalyze existing systems and processes to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement Documentation & TranslationPrepare clear documentation including Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Specification Documents (FSD), and user storiesTranslate complex business requirements into detailed technical specifications that can be easily understood by developers and engineersEnsure alignment between the client's expectations and the technical team's understanding of deliverables Communication & CoordinationAct as the main liaison between business stakeholders and the technology team throughout the project lifecycleFacilitate regular meetings to track progress, clarify requirements, and resolve ambiguitiesSupport cross-functional collaboration to ensure project objectives are met within scope, time, and quality standards System & Solution Design SupportCollaborate with solution architects and developers to design and validate system functionalities that meet business needsParticipate in system testing, UAT (User Acceptance Testing), and validation to ensure deliverables align with requirementsRecommend process or system enhancements based on data-driven insights and user feedback Reporting & Continuous ImprovementDevelop reports, dashboards, and performance metrics to track solution effectiveness post-deploymentGather post-implementation feedback and identify areas for system optimizationSupport ongoing improvement of internal analysis frameworks, tools, and documentation standardsQualifications & SkillsEducation:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related fieldExperience:3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role bridging business and technical teamsExperience in software development environments, preferably in SaaS, localization, or enterprise systemsSkills & Competencies:Strong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsProficiency in documenting business requirements and system workflowsFamiliarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and tools such as Jira, Confluence, or TrelloAbility to translate complex technical concepts into business languageBasic understanding of databases, APIs, and system integrations is an advantage
