Role Description: The Business Analyst serves as a critical link between business stakeholders and technical teams, driving organizational efficiency through data-driven insights, process optimization, and strategic analysis. This role focuses on understanding business needs, analyzing operations, and recommending innovative solutions that enhance productivity, profitability, and decision-making. The Business Analyst will prepare business requirement documents (BRDs), functional specifications, user stories, and process maps, ensuring clear communication between business users, developers, and project managers.You will also support data collection, validation, and analysis to assess project performance, identify trends, and forecast outcomes. The role involves preparing detailed business and financial models, conducting gap analyses, and supporting the design and implementation of digital transformation or automation initiatives. A Master’s degree or professional certification (CBAP, PMI-PBA, or Agile BA) is a plus.2–6 years of experience in business analysis, consulting, operations, or project coordination.Proven ability to gather and document requirements, conduct process analysis, and recommend effective business solutions.Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in Excel, Power BI, or Tableau for data visualization and reporting.Familiarity with SQL, Python, or similar tools for data querying and validation is an advantage.Experience with project management or collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Asana, or Microsoft Project.Strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex technical details into business-friendly insights.High attention to detail, strong organizational and time management skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities under deadlines.Knowledge of ERP, CRM, or data integration systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Salesforce) is preferred.A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive business improvement initiatives.
