With production facilities in Germany, Poland, Italy, Malaysia and the USA, we are proud to be a truly international team.We are now looking for a collaborative and business oriented Global Business Controller for our Business Unit (BU) Medical.About The RoleYou are responsible for developing and executing the BU’s financial activities, with full responsibility of controlling the BU’s Profit&Loss and balance sheet. This includes driving and understanding all aspects of financial performance, i.e. results, trends, and forecasting, as well as reporting results in a transparent and accurate way. With a keen interest in our operations, and close collaboration and relationships with key stakeholders within the business, you identify and act on improvement potential.Key ResponsibilitiesManage financial monthly, quarterly, and annual closingsProvide insightful financial analysis and advisory to support strategic decisions and enhance the operations and value creationDrive and develop our financial roadmap for continuous improvements within the financial areaProject controlling – handling, steering, following up on larger projects connected to the strategy The role reports to and collaborates closely with the President of the BU and the finance community within Kanthal. This position is a member of the BU management team who have full responsibility for setting and driving the BU strategy.The location for the position is Sweden, in one of the Alleima units in Stockholm, Sandviken or Hallstahammar. The position also includes some international travelling to our units.About YouWe believe you are a senior Business Controller as well as a leader with strong collaboration skills. With solid experience from various global organizations in the manufacturing industry and the drive and know-how to shape financial processes you will make a difference for us. Experience from result consolidation, pricing and product profitability analysis is extra advantageous. You enjoy and have a successful track record of taking overall ownership of business control in a financially complex setting.Along with your drive for analysis, problem solving and accuracy, you’re guided by integrity and empathy, as well as a genuine desire to create team spirit, inspire people and support others to grow.
