Green Bay improved to 8-3-1 after beating the Lions for the second time in the 2025 NFL season. The Packers are still second in the NFC North standings, just behind the 8-3 Chicago Bears.

But a Chicago loss this coming Sunday to the reigning Super Bowl champions Philadelphia Eagles on the road would push the Packers back to the top of the division again.

“We knew what was at stake with his game,” Love said after the Detroit game, per the Associated Press (h/t ESPN). “It’s a tight race.”

The Packers and the Bears are also scheduled to face each other at Lambeau Field in Week 14.
