Airswift is seeking a Distribution and Services Analyst to work full-time in Suriname with a large company specializing in pipe manufacturing and providing services related to the global energy sector and other industrial applications.Ensure timely follow-up on customer needs and organize delivery schedules from the Service Center to their final destinations, using the corresponding information systems. Verify stock levels and provide accurate information to enable the definition of the shipping plan, ensuring customer operation. Issue operational documents to guarantee the flow of resources to the platforms. Support the invoicing process. Support the operational flow by coordinating orders, stock availability, and transportation, ensuring compliance with company standards and service level expectations.Job ResponsibilitiesInventory Verification and Logistics Planning: monitor the client's inventory level and ensure the loading/unloading schedule, performing the following activities: operational visits and physical verifications at ports and warehouses, when necessary; verification of inventory levels in the client's warehouse and consolidation of information with inventory availability in the service base; inventory reconciliation, verifying any discrepancies; verification of pipe inventory control through tracking movements in the system and identification of deviations; listing and detailing all necessary materials (pipes and tools) for the client's operation and sharing this information with the service base in a timely and appropriate manner to support the shipping plan; analysis of the loading/unloading schedule, verifying priorities to optimize time and resources; considering the client's needs, requesting tools and materials in advance to avoid delays in the process; preparation and issuance of operational documents to allow the loading/unloading of resources on the platform;Support for return activities after the transaction with the customer, through the sharing of information with the service base.Invoice Management and Control: manage the invoicing process, assisting the customer during the issuance of invoicing documents (invoices, debit and/or credit notes), providing the correct information and reviewing the invoicing flow; issuing relevant controls and reports for each invoicing operation; verifying the registration of materials in the applicable systems.Enter and manage customer orders in the associated systems, ensuring accuracy and traceability.Support inventory optimization by monitoring availability and coordinating the allocation of products within the Service Center.Provide clear shipping instructions to shift leaders/supervisors for each dispatch.Coordinate outbound shipments to clients, maximizing vehicle utilization and optimizing the carrier base operating in Suriname.Coordinate equipment returns and interactions with third-party service providers as needed.Ensure all operational and transportation documentation is complete, accurate, and properly stored to support audits and operational needs.Troubleshoot issues and activate administrative processes when necessary to maintain workflow continuity.Protect company facilities, equipment, and resources, ensuring proper use and security.Job QualificationsTechnical or higher education degree in administrative areas, logistics, supply chain, or related fields.Experience in logistics, distribution, customer service, or operations.Experience with transportation companies or transportation coordination in the region is a plus.Availability for on-call duty is required.Technical skills: Knowledge of inventory control principles and logistics processes.Proficiency in billing systems and discrepancy resolution.Ability to interpret, analyze, and generate operational reports.Knowledge of SAP (preferred).Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools: Advanced Excel; knowledge of Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate is desirable.Consider the hours from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, with a 1-hour lunch break.Only residents of SurinameAbout AirswiftAirswift serves as a strategic partner to our clients in STEM industries.
