Job DescriptionJob Title: Fishing Tool SupervisorLocation: Caribbean Region (Suriname, but considering candidates from all Caribbean Regions)Rotation: 28/28Company: Weatherford InternationalJob OverviewWeatherford currently has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Fishing Tool Supervisor to join our team on a rotational basis (28/28) in the Caribbean region. This senior-level field role is responsible for the installation, repair, and servicing of remedial service packers, completion tools, and other rental equipment—both in the shop and in the field.The Fishing Tool Supervisor plays a key role in delivering high-quality service to top-tier clients, managing field crews when necessary, and applying advanced techniques to solve complex operational challenges. This position offers autonomy, leadership responsibility, and the opportunity to work on major projects using cutting-edge technologies.ResponsibilitiesOperate and maintain Fishing and Reentry equipment in both shop and field environmentsProvide onsite services and technical support as neededPerform maintenance and repairs on company-owned and rental equipmentTest, tune, and adjust equipment for optimal performanceMonitor drilling and workover rig activity related to Fishing and Reentry operationsRecommend improvements to methods, performance, and qualityComplete accurate and timely job reportsAssist with shop duties and deliveries when availableMaintain 24-hour on-call status during rotationParticipate in JHA, tailgate, and safety meetingsAdapt to changing work environments and conditionsTroubleshoot and solve basic operational issuesContinue training to expand knowledge of Fishing and Reentry servicesComply with Weatherford’s Quality Policy, safety rules, and company proceduresPerform other duties as assigned within the physical scope of the roleQualifications & Experience3–7+ years of fishing and whipstock running experienceDeepwater experience requiredExperience working with top-tier clientsHigh School diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education preferredStrong mechanical aptitude and general product knowledgeValid driver’s licenseBasic computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel)Self-motivated with excellent communication skills in EnglishAbility to follow instructions and work closely with team membersPhysically capable of responding in emergency situationsWillingness and ability to work a fixed 28/28 rotation
