Club Med offers a new way of experiencing holidays in its upscale and multicultural resorts, aiming to become the most desirable lifestyle travel brand for all.Club Med counts 20,000 Gentle Organizers (G.Os) and Gentle Employees (G.Es) working not only in its resorts, but also at headquarters in Paris, Lyon, Singapore, Shanghai, Rio de Janeiro, and Miami, as well as in sales offices across dozens of countries and in travel agencies worldwide.Responsibilities:ReportingFollow up of the operational activities:Assist and summarize the monthly closing/forecast of all resorts PL: analyzing & challenging the results, maximizing the standardization for closing documents and its reporting.Analysis & anticipation (preparation of the forecast, proposal of corrective actions, find costs optimization)Take note & acquire global knowledge of major contracts for each resort and alert on financial related points to be respect by both parties (or/and) needs to be followed-up accordingly.Work closely with countries RAF & regional team to follow-up key topics like rents, CAPEX, tax etc.Planning/BudgetingEnsure the communication and implementation of the planning and reporting deadlines to meet all financial obligations.Implementation and execution of the budget process, with respect to the deadlines set by the Group and the Business Unit / Review & Monitor the budgeting process with the corresponding managers.Internal controlFollow up on the thorough application & evolution of the procedures on all activities of the resorts to ensure a high level of consistency in all activities in the BUCarry out regular audit missions ensuring strict application of group procedures; detecting any anomalies and/or weaknesses for resort finance operations, and submitting recommendations for improvements.Specific projects, Business Case, Pre-opening budgetAssist or lead in any specific projects developed to improve and/or optimize the business model or the daily operations.Collect the necessary information to build Business Case for new openings or Ad hoc projects.Follow-up pre-opening budgets with resort and alert if necessary.IT systemsLook into evolution of IT financial systems (Hyperion Planning / NAFI) and develop financial reporting tools to improve efficiency.PeopleAnimate the Finance resort population: participate to their integration, training and development.Act as a business partner with the resort teams and regional teams (HR, purchasing, maintenance, accounting, and tax)Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum 5 years of experience in business control, financial reporting, or a similar role, ideally within the hospitality. Proven experience working across multiple markets in Southeast Asia is a plus.Experience in collaborating closely with Finance and operational teams.Advanced Excel / Power Point skills for financial modelling, reporting, and data analysis.Familiarity with systems such as Oracle Hyperion, Coupa, PowerBI is a plus.Strong understanding of internal control processes and experience in improving or optimizing themAbility to work independently and manage multiple financial reporting projects simultaneouslyStrong analytical mindset with a proactive approach to solving business challenges.Ability to communicate financial insights clearly to both senior management and cross-functional teams.Fluency in English, both written and verbal, is essential for communication across regions and teams.
