Zurich, Switzerland | on-site | starting between November 2025 – January 2026We are looking for an entrepreneurial Business Developer to join our team and actively contribute to driving our business growth, market strategy, and sales efforts. We’re a young and dynamic team, and your role will be broad and impactful – from shaping our commercial strategy and building customer relationships to defining our product’s market fit. You’ll work side by side with the CEO and the founding team to shape our technology, company, and culture.At RoBoa, you’ll grow with the company and take on real responsibility from day one. You’ll gain deep insights into building a business around deep-tech systems that solve meaningful challenges in industrial infrastructure. If you’re looking for variety, ownership, and a team where your work makes a difference, this is for you!As an ideal candidate, you will be highly motivated, eager to work at the intersection of a challenging deep-tech topic and its real-world business application, capable of working autonomously and in small teams, and have a strong desire to build and scale a deep-tech business.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute the sales and business development strategy together with the CEO.Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers, partners, and key stakeholders.Identify and pursue new market opportunities and translate customer needs into business cases.Prepare compelling proposals, commercial offers, and marketing materials.Represent RoBoa at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings.Collaborate closely with the engineering team to ensure market feedback informs product development.Build, drive, and support RoBoa’s internal processes and operations.Requirements & QualificationsStrong motivation and goal-oriented working attitude.Comfortable working independently and in small teams, and willing to take responsibility.Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related discipline with a strong affinity for technology.Proven experience in business development, sales, or strategy, preferably in a B2B tech environment.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Fluent English speaker; German is a strong plus.Great to haveExperience in the robotics, industrial automation, or inspection industries.A background that combines both technical and commercial expertise.Experience in a startup or fast-growing technology company.An existing network in relevant industrial sectors.What we offerDirect collaboration with the founders and the chance to actively shape our product and company.Opportunity to grow into a core role in an early-stage robotics startup.Competitive compensation package.Exposure to real-world deployments and pilot customers.A team culture focused on technical excellence, openness, and shared ownership.Regular joint team activities including team dinners and surprise events.How to applyPlease apply through our online application form and have your cover letter, CV, transcript and/or reference at hand.
