Job Description
The Business Development Assistant will support the Business Development Department and commercial team in executing business strategies and managing daily operations. This role involves coordinating business activities, conducting market research, preparing reports, and assisting in maintaining strong relationships with partners and stakeholders. The position is designed for a proactive and detail-oriented professional who can provide reliable support to ensure smooth business development and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities:Business Support & Coordination· Assist in the preparation and implementation of business strategies, plans, and budgets.· Collect, consolidate, and maintain business data, ensuring timely and accurate reporting for monthly/quarterly business reviews.· Support in monitoring business performance, KPIs, and market activities across different territories and product segments.· Provide administrative and logistical support for meetings, presentations, and business events.Market Research & Development· Conduct market research to identify growth opportunities, including hospital, institutional, and OTC segments.· Track competitor activities, industry trends, and regulatory updates to support decision-making.· Assist in the development of new product lines such as health supplements and medical devices through data collection, feasibility studies, and coordination with relevant teams.Sales & Partner Support· Support the sales team in preparing tender documents, proposals, contracts, and presentations.· Coordinate communication and maintain documentation with distributors, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders.· Assist in managing distributor appointments, geographic mapping, and OTC product portfolio expansion activities.Operational & Cross-functional Support· Work closely with Marketing, Finance, and Regulatory Affairs teams to ensure alignment with business objectives.· Support supply chain and inventory monitoring by coordinating with internal teams.· Maintain proper filing, documentation, and compliance tracking related to business development activities.Team & Administrative Assistance· Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Business Head and team.· Assist in arranging training, recruitment coordination, and other HR-related activities when required.· Contribute to fostering a collaborative and efficient team culture.Perform other assigned related tasks Qualifications:· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or related field.· 1–3 years of experience in business development support, sales coordination, or related roles (fresh graduates with internship experience will be considered).· Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.· Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.· Proven track record of managing sales operations and achieving targets in a competitive environment. Key Skills:· Excellent leadership and team management skills.· Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building abilities.· Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make sound decisions.· Proficiency in English (all four skills).
