Location: Abuja, Nigeria (Flexible/Hybrid)Employment Type: Full-Time, On-siteReporting To: Chief Operating Officer (COO)Pinnacle Daily is a newly launched, high-impact media platform dedicated to data-driven journalism and high-level business intelligence. Our mission is to provide analysis and exclusive reporting that informs market decisions and drives policy conversations. We are looking for a highly motivated individual to monetize our rapidly growing credibility and audience. This is a critical, hands-on role responsible for driving all revenue streams for Pinnacle Daily, including premium advertising, sponsored content, and strategic partnerships. You will be the frontline executor of our sales strategy, turning our journalistic authority into sustainable business revenue.Key ResponsibilitiesDirect Sales & Outreach:Proactively identify and pitch high-value advertising clients (financial institutions, blue-chip companies, government agencies, and tech firms).Conduct effective sales calls and presentations, clearly articulating the value of placing brands alongside Pinnacle Daily’s exclusive content.Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation and cold outreach to negotiation and closing.Sponsorship & Partnership Management:Develop proposals for long-term sponsored content series, digital adverts, and event sponsorship.Identify and cultivate strategic, non-advertising partnerships that enhance the brand and generate institutional revenue.Revenue Operations & Tracking:Maintain and update the CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system with accurate sales activity, pipeline status, and client contacts.Prepare weekly and monthly revenue reports, tracking key metrics like sales pipeline value, client acquisition rate, and deal closure rate.Ensure all advertising campaigns and sponsored content run efficiently and meet client expectations.Market Intelligence:Stay current on competitor advertising rates, industry trends, and client spending patterns to ensure Pinnacle Daily’s offerings remain competitive and profitable.Qualifications & Competencies3–5 years of proven experience in sales, business development, or account management, preferably within the media, advertising, or financial services sectors.HND/Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.Experience in the media industry as a sales, marketing, or business development professional is preferred.Must be a resourceful self-starter, comfortable with aggressive revenue targets, and skilled in doing the groundwork (cold calling, proposal drafting, and detailed CRM entry).Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex business concepts clearly and persuasively.Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships with high-level clients and stakeholders.What We Offer:Competitive SalaryCommission and bonusesHMOPensionAnnual LeaveTo Apply:Please submit your resume detailing your experience in sales and why you are the ideal fit to drive revenue for a data-driven media startup to recruitment@thepinnacleng.com
