About Us:Flow48 is a VC-backed fintech startup for B2B lending. Building a seamless, automated, and integrated ecosystem to serve as a platform for SME Working Capital financing under a Revenue Based Finance (RBF) model. We bring a solution to the information asymmetry problem, overcoming traditional lenders’ challenges by building a financing layer for SMEs based on data triangulation and dynamic risk engines.Position Overview:The Business Development Consultant will play a key role in driving growth through the direct acquisition of new clients (Business Borrowers) aligned to Flow48’s Credit Policy. This role will focus on expanding the company's lending products and services to Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). Successful candidates will have a deep understanding of the financial services industry, especially within FinTech, and experience identifying and onboarding new SMEs as Business Borrowers.Key Responsibilities:Sales and Revenue Growth :Drive the sales pipeline through direct-to-market lead generation, prospecting, and closing of deals, focusing on the adoption of Flow48’s lending products.Implement Flow48’s direct-to-market sales strategy to meet revenue targets, addressing client needs.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, legal, and risk management, to deliver tailored solutions to partners and clients.Collaboration and Communication:Work closely with sales, finance, and other departments to facilitate effective communication and decision-making related to underwriting, disbursements and collections.Key Performance Indicators:Achievement of monthly/quarterly revenue and new client acquisition targets.Growth of partnership deals with key FinTech players, financial institutions, and SMEs.Increase in market share and product penetration in the FinTech lending market.Client retention and satisfaction levels.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.Experience:Minimum 4-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or partnerships, ideally in a FinTech Lending business.Strong understanding of digital lending products, credit systems, and the regulatory environment in FinTech lending.Proven track record of driving revenue growth and building partnerships within the FinTech or financial services sector.Skills and Personal; Attributes:Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Strong knowledge of lending processes, credit scoring, and financial products.Ability to think strategically, with strong analytical skills to assess market trends and opportunities.Results-oriented and self-motivated to achieve and exceed ambitious targets.Innovative mindset with the ability to adapt to the fast-paced and evolving FinTech landscape.Strong networking and relationship-building skills, particularly with stakeholders in SME ecosystem.High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.We are looking for someone who excels in a dynamic, high-growth setting with a good understanding of the direct lending ecosystem.  In our lean team, autonomy and self-sufficiency are crucial, as is the ability to design and execute one's roadmap.
