Job AnnouncementBusiness Development Department Manager / Sales DirectorHead Office – BaghdadThe Economy Bank for Investment and Finance announces the opening of applications for the position of Business Development Department Manager at the Head Office.Requirements:Applicants must meet the following:Background in banking, with previous branch management experience considered an advantage.Strong and proven experience in corporate sales, marketing, and business development, including: Expanding and managing relationships with corporate clients.Acquiring new companies across various business sectors.Promoting banking services and financial products directly to corporate clients.Ability to establish, lead, train, and oversee sales teams, ensuring strong execution of field sales plans and achieving measurable results.Capability to open new partnership channels with companies and drive sustainable growth in banking activities.Solid understanding of the Iraqi banking market, competitive environment, and corporate client needs.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement business development and sales strategies aligned with the bank’s strategic objectives.Lead initiatives to expand the bank’s corporate customer base and strengthen market presence.Conduct market and competitor analysis and provide data-driven recommendations to senior management.Build and maintain strategic relationships with corporate clients, institutions, and business sectors.Supervise field sales activities and ensure consistent delivery of high-quality services to corporate customers.Manage, train, and motivate sales teams to achieve sustainable performance and continuous growth.Contribute to enhancing digital banking services and the development of modern financial products tailored to corporate clients.Qualifications & Requirements:Bachelor’s degree (minimum requirement).Proficiency in English and familiarity with modern banking systems and technologies.Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.How to Apply:Please send your CV to the email below and mention the job title in the subject line:hr@ebi.iq
