MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE Develop and implement a subsidiary/global line of business sales and marketing strategy that will improve the organization's competitive position. Please note that associated organization type should be Subsidiary, or, when global in scope, Multi-Profit Centre or Division. Main ResponsibilitiesLead, direct, and control all sales and marketing functions so activities meet the organization’s business objectives, comply with regulations, and protect the organization’s reputation. Activities may include: market research, forecasting, pricing, marketing campaigns, business development activities, customer service, invoicing and payment administration. Negotiate terms of sales with major clients to maximize the organization’s interests. Establish targets in areas such as product mix, sales volume, market share, or business development. Monitor performance of the organization against these goals. Liaise with other senior executives across the organization to ensure strategies are integrated with the rest of the business and align with corporate objectives. Select and manage relationships with consultants and agencies to ensure satisfactory standards of service. Lead, direct, evaluate, and develop a team of sales and marketing managers.Desired ExperienceThe focus is on APAC region with 80% of efforts concentrated on China. Hence China market experience is a mustBusiness Development experience in Pharma companies is a must with strong knowledge about Pharma landscape in ChinaMust have experience of dealing with investment bankers and CXO levelPrivate equity company experience can also be consideredChinese language fluency is mandatory especially Mandarin.QualificationsEducationAssociates Degree (± 13 years) Experience/BackgroundMinimum 13+ years with majority of it in business development
