We provide specialized talent through flexible solutions tailored to our clients’ needs.Our client, a leading company in water infrastructure and treatment, is looking to add a Business Development Director for the Middle East to their team.The position is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and executing business opportunities in the Middle East region, coordinating strategic projects, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.The position can be based in Dubai, Qatar, or other locations within the region. It also requires availability for frequent travel.RESPONSIBILITIESDefine and implement the business development strategy in the Middle East, identifying new commercial opportunities and priority market segments to drive growth and profitability.Manage and coordinate the business development and commercial support team assigned to the region, ensuring efficient execution of commercial strategies.Collaborate with internal departments to ensure the technical, financial, and contractual feasibility of identified opportunities, evaluating risks and the sustainability of each project.Maintain and strengthen strategic relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders in the region, facilitating commercial agreements and consolidating the company’s presence.Lead commercial and contractual negotiations, coordinating the preparation of proposals and strategic presentations for high-level potential clients.Monitor market trends, competitors, and technological advancements, identifying opportunities for differentiation and growth, and represent the company at industry forums, conferences, and events to enhance brand visibility.EXPERIENCEProven experience in business development, commercial strategy, or opportunity management in international environments, preferably within infrastructure, energy, or water treatment sectors.Demonstrable experience in market entry, management of strategic clients, and negotiation of complex contracts in the Middle East.Experience in managing international projects and knowledge of the regulatory and business ecosystem of the region is a plus.EDUCATIONBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Commerce, or related fields.Postgraduate or master’s degree in project management, business development, or international strategy is valued.LANGUAGESAdvanced English (minimum C1).Advanced Arabic (minimum B2-C1).Knowledge of other relevant regional languages such as French or Spanish is a plus.BENEFITSCompetitive salary with a variable compensation component.Competitive expatriation package, including housing and additional benefits.
