Director of Service Growth & Development (Global Role)We’re seeking a proven Service Growth & Development Director to take ownership of our global service strategy — shaping the commercial offering, refining operational structures, and ensuring our capabilities match customer expectations worldwide. This is a key leadership position within a fast-scaling industrial technology business, driving how we define, deliver, and evolve our service proposition.If you thrive on building structure from strategy and turning commercial ideas into reality, this is a pivotal opportunity to make an impact on a truly global scale.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and expand the global Service Development function, setting direction and building capability within the team.Define and enhance the company’s service offering — ensuring strong market relevance, scalability, and commercial growth.Evaluate financial and performance data to identify opportunities for improved profitability and sustainable expansion.Conduct market and competitor analysis to uncover new business areas, shaping go-to-market strategies in collaboration with senior leadership.Develop service packages and commercial models that add value for existing and future clients.Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and tracking of service revenue targets.Mentor, coach, and guide the wider service and commercial teams to build operational excellence.Support the creation of investment cases and business plans for future service growth initiatives.Foster collaboration across functions to ensure smooth delivery of what’s promised to customers.Continuously challenge and evolve existing processes — introducing new tools, technologies, and best practices to drive efficiency.Report directly to the Chief Commercial Leadership Team.About You10+ years’ experience in business development, commercial strategy, or service leadership roles within an industrial or technology-driven environment.Demonstrated success in building and scaling service business models.Experienced people leader with the ability to inspire, influence, and align cross-functional teams.Strong analytical acumen with the ability to interpret financial reports and translate data into strategy.Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; additional languages a plus.Comfortable with travel to meet clients, explore markets, and build partnerships.Customer-focused, commercially minded, and unafraid to challenge the status quo.Familiar with CRM and project management tools (e.g., Salesforce, Jira, or similar).
