Our unwavering commitment to progress and continual service improvement remains at the heart of our business today.This is a customer-facing sales role, focused on building strong client relationships, winning new business, and growing sales of our market-leading portfolio of vehicle conversions, Scattolini body builds, and Sortimo shelving systems.The successful candidate will demonstrate strong commercial acumen, excellent negotiation skills, and a proactive, solution-selling approach that delivers real value to our customers.Key ResponsibilitiesAccount ManagementServe as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring excellent service, proactive communication, and long-term customer satisfaction.Business Growth: Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities across CAFCO’s full portfolio, consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.Solution Selling: Understand customer needs, provide tailored solutions, and clearly articulate the value of NVD Group products and services.Relationship Development: Build strong, trust-based relationships with customers through regular meetings, site visits, and ongoing support.Commercial Awareness: Maintain a deep understanding of the market landscape, competitor activity, and emerging trends to identify growth opportunities.Collaboration: Work closely with internal operations and technical teams to ensure orders are processed accurately, projects are delivered on time, and customers receive seamless service.Tender Management: Tender and RFP applications from process from preparation through to submission and follow-up will form part of this role.Customer Engagement: Represent NVD Group at customer meetings, industry events, and exhibitions to strengthen relationships and promote our premium brands.RequirementsMinimum 3 years’ experience in business development or sales, ideally within automotive, fleet, or vehicle conversion sectors.Proven track record in winning and growing commercial accounts.Experience managing tenders and RFPs.Familiarity with LCV conversions, body builds, or shelving systems (advantageous)Strong negotiation and influencing skills, with a customer-first mindset.Excellent communication, organisational, and relationship-building abilities.Commercially astute with the ability to identify opportunities and close deals.Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.Full, valid driving licence required.Training & DevelopmentComprehensive induction and product training to build expertise in NVD Group portfolio of services and market-leading brands.Ongoing sales and solution-selling training to support professional growth and career progression.Access to industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to strengthen sector knowledge.Mentorship and support from senior sales leaders to help you succeed and develop your career.Equal Opportunities StatementNational Vehicle Distribution is an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
