Role Summary:PLEASE READ CAREFULLYWe are seeking a driven and experienced Business Development Manager to be a foundational pillar of our new Dubai office. This is a unique opportunity to build and shape the commercial future of Bright Spaces in the UAE, backed by a successful and established design and fit-out firm in Qatar. The ideal candidate is a "hunter" by nature, a resilient, proactive, and process-oriented sales professional who thrives on the challenge of building a business from the ground up. You will be responsible for the entire sales cycle, from generating the first leads to closing flagship projects that will define our presence in the UAE market. This is not a role for someone who wants to manage an existing book of business; this is for someone who wants to create it. Initially, the incumbent will not have a team to manage, as Bright Spaces is building such a team gradually and slowly. The BDM will be an integral part of this growth and team-building process. Key Responsibilities:Develop & Execute Sales Strategy: Design and implement a robust sales strategy to penetrate the UAE market and achieve ambitious revenue targets.Pipeline & Lead Generation: Proactively identify, research, and qualify new business opportunities through a combination of cold outreach, networking, and strategic partnerships. Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline from zero.Full Sales Cycle Management: Own the entire sales process, including initial client engagement, site visits, proposal development, negotiation, and contract closing.Collaborate for Success: Work closely with our in-house team to create compelling proposals and marketing materials.Brand Ambassadorship: Represent Bright Spaces at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities, establishing our brand as a credible and high-quality player in the UAE fit-out industry.Market Intelligence: Provide feedback to leadership on market trends, competitive landscape, and client needs to help refine our service offerings. Job Requirements & Qualifications PLEASE READ CAREFULLYExperience:Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience, with at least 3 years specifically within the interior design and fit-out industry in the UAE. This is a non-negotiable requirement.Verifiable track record of building a sales pipeline from scratch and consistently meeting or exceeding revenue targets.Demonstrated experience working in a small team, start-up, or new market entry environment is highly preferred.Skills:Exceptional Sales Process: Must be able to articulate a clear, repeatable process for lead generation, qualification, and closing.Communication & Negotiation: Outstanding presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.Self-Starter Mentality: Must be highly motivated, proactive, and able to work with a high degree of autonomy.Resilience & Attitude: Thrives in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with a "can-do" attitude. The ability to handle rejection and navigate the challenges of a new market entry is essential.Mobility: Must possess a valid UAE driving license and have access to a personal car with a clean driving record.Industry Network: Already possesses a strong network of contacts within the UAE's architecture, design, and commercial real estate sectors.
