The mission of this venture is to improve productivity, safety, and efficiency across high-impact industries by deploying versatile robotic systems.About the roleWe’re hiring a Business Development Manager for VentureOne’s new robotics venture to lead commercialization, market development, and revenue generation for our robotic platforms. This role is ideal for a highly driven builder who thrives at the intersection of robotics, artificial intelligence, and business strategy. You will translate our advanced robotic capabilities into real market opportunities, identifying priority industries, developing go-to-market strategies, closing early customer deals, and shaping our business model.Key Responsibilities:Lead opportunity creation by driving business development efforts, identifying new commercial prospects, and building strong sales pipelines.Negotiate and secure commercial agreements with clients, including pilot programs, long-term contracts, and service commitments.Manage client relationships and act as the primary commercial interface between the company and its customers.Develop go-to-market strategies for advanced robotic systems and task capabilities, including pricing architecture, market positioning, and value-based messaging.Conduct market analysis to identify new opportunities, competitive dynamics, and emerging industry trends.Collaborate with technical teams to understand product capabilities and translate them into compelling commercial value propositions.Represent the company at conferences, expos, government forums, and commercial events to strengthen market presence and generate qualified leads.Minimum Requirements:5–10 years in business development, technology commercialization, or sales roles within technology-focused environments (mandatory).Proven track record of generating and closing commercial opportunities, with the ability to build pipelines, qualify leads, and convert them into revenue.Strong hunter mentality with experience guiding customers through complex B2B/B2G sales cycles.Excellent negotiation skills with experience in structuring service contracts, licensing agreements, or technology partnerships.Experience working with government, semi-government, and private-sector organizations in technology deployment environments.Strong analytical and market research capabilities to identify opportunities and assess market potential.Entrepreneurial mindset with experience in startup environments or fast-moving technology ventures.Excellent communication and presentation skills for engaging with C-level executives and technical stakeholders.Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for client meetings, pilot deployments, and industry events.We provide a competitive, tax-free salary and a comprehensive benefits package in a collaborative, innovative and inclusive work environment.
