Founded in 2020, we are focused on the Swiss market with growing international exposure.About the roleThe Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving growth by identifying, opening, and developing new client relationships. Acting as the first point of contact, this role requires a consultative approach to understand client needs, position Interim Legal’s value proposition, and establish trust. Once opportunities are identified, the Business Development Manager will work closely with the CEO to build these into long-term partnerships. This role is well suited to an individual who enjoys proactive outreach, strategic networking, and the challenge of developing new business within a professional services environment.Key ResponsibilitiesProactively identify and engage potential clients, introducing Interim Legal’s capabilities and opening new conversations.Develop and execute a targeted business development strategy within selected industry verticals.Build trust with senior legal and compliance stakeholders through consultative discussions.Partner with the CEO to transition new opportunities into deeper, long-term client relationships.Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless delivery of our services and alignment with client expectations.Represent Interim Legal at events, networking forums, and through marketing initiatives to increase brand visibility.Provide market feedback to shape service offerings and ensure alignment with client demand.Track and report on business development activity, pipeline status, and key performance metrics.QualificationsStrong interest in the legal services market and in transforming how legal work is delivered.Proven track record in sales, business development, or client-facing roles within professional services, recruitment, or consulting.Demonstrated ability to initiate relationships, build rapport, and generate new opportunities.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders.Highly self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple opportunities in a fast-paced environment.A university degree is preferred.Fluency in English required; proficiency in German or French is a strong advantage.Applicants must hold a valid EU or Swiss work permit and be based in Switzerland.Our CommitmentInterim Legal is committed to diversity and equal employment opportunities.
