Business Development Manager (Logistics)

该职位来源于猎聘 Job Brief As the Representative of Wurth Logistics in Mainland China you are responsible to develop and maintain trustful relationships with suppliers and service partners, acquire a thorough understanding of customer needs, requirements and objectives and logistics operational procedures with the overall objective to prepare a direct market entry for Wurth Logistics in Mainland China. You shall continuously develop proposals and solutions that add value to our business. The position serves as a link between suppliers, customers and our functional teams to resolve and communicate on any issues, requirements and challenges and deal with complaints to maintain trust.Primary Tasks /Responsibilities 1、Acquire and analyze Mainland China market information and identify potentials for direct market entry. 2、Analyzing transport flows and identify potentials for volume and efficiency gains.3、Share market information regarding specific opportunities with relevant Wurth Logistics' European and American offices. 4、Develop and manage relationships with existing Wurth Group suppliers in Mainland China regarding logistics arrangements, design and deliver proposals & solutions in accordance with the companies’ policies. 5、Collaborate with Wurth Logistics' business partners in Mainland China, e.g. cargo and handling agents, shipping lines and others and supervise their performance. 6、Preparation of external SOPs describing business processes between Wurth Logistics' local agents, shippers and consignees, including definition and monitoring of KPIs. Evaluate external business processes, assess risks and create solutions and improvements, which includes but is not limited to service levels and cost reductions. Preparation and submission of relevant reports. 7、To manage and oversee implementation of new business processes where parties in Mainland China are involved.8、Maintaining data in the relationship management (CRM) system, filing of reports. 9、To provide the management with relevant, quantified and clear information relating to market activities and the operational logistics framework and developments in Mainland China. OtherResponsibilities 1、Collaborating with other Wurth Logistics departments, offices/branches and business units within the company group, including regular communication and alignment of activities. 2、Co-operate with external parties as and when necessary. 3、Promoting a collaborative environment and team spirit. 4、Any other related tasks assigned from time to time. Requirements 1、Bachelor' s degree or above. 2、Minimum of 5 years of business development experience in the logistics industry. 3、Strong understanding of international shipping procedures, customs regulations, and a wide range of logistics solutions. 4、Good verbal and written communication skills in English. 5、Willingness to travel for business purposes. 6、Results-oriented, highly self-motivated, and capable of effective self-management. 7、Strong team spirit with excellent communication and coordination skills; able to multitask and work well under pressure. 8、Good mental and physical health.
